Sri Chinmoy Races Oxford
I have been organising races in Cutteslowe Park Oxford for 6 years. We hold the races at the Peace Mile In Cutteslowe Park. Usually we have about 3-4 races a year. This year the Grand Prix series is of 3 miles, 3 miles and 4 miles.
Sri Chinmoy A.C have been holding races in Oxford since 1986 when Sri Chinmoy inaugurated the Peace Mile at a ceremony with the Lord Mayor.
The races are fairly low key and we have a group of regular runners who often use it as training for a longer race like the marathon.
I'm not a runner myself after a knee injury encouraged me to switch back to cycling. But I enjoy organising the running races.
