The Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team has been running since the 1970s. In the mid 1970s Sri Chinmoy and many members of the Sri Chinmoy Centre took part in the Pepsi 24 Hour Race through Central Park, New York. See Article on 24 hour Race

Recently there has been an increase in participation and membership. I am currently the most active member of the Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team, but their are other members who also participate in racing. In New York there are quite a few members who ride socially. There are some who have aspirations to ride the Race Across America RAAM.

This year Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team have affiliated to British Cycling Federation (BCF) in addition to CTT. Next year we will have riders competiting in time trials, road racing and cyclo cross.
